A shop floor, read off the client

Two lines on the portal card say the game runs on phones and tablets. We did not test that, and a page of screenshots from a desktop says nothing about a touch screen, so this page stays short and says so.

What the portal claims

The information block on the portal page reads, verbatim:

That is the entire official claim: the same build, three form factors, and it will rotate.

What we actually ran

The build we tested ran in a desktop Chrome window at 1422×804 and, in one session, at 1920×1080 after going fullscreen. Both were mouse and keyboard.

Nothing in that setup exercises a touch screen, so nothing in our other pages should be read as a claim about one.

The reason to be sceptical

Every prompt the game prints is a keyboard prompt. The tutorial overlay says Use WASD to move around and Use your mouse to look around; the top-left corner prints P, R and C tiles; the order terminal and the till are dense grids of small buttons that a finger would have to hit precisely.

That does not prove the touch version is broken. It does prove that this build was designed around a keyboard, and that a phone player is being asked to do something the prompts do not describe.

If you are on a phone

Two things are worth checking before you commit to a shift, because they are the parts we would expect to strain first:

  1. The till. Ten denomination buttons and four action buttons in a panel on the right edge, used under time pressure.
  2. The order terminal. A scrolling product grid with + and − steppers on every card.

If either is unusable on your device, the browser build is not the version for you, and this page cannot tell you which one would be.

What would make this page longer

Someone playing it on a phone, with screenshots. Until then the honest length of this page is short, and a longer page would be a page of guesses.
